Endless Demo Update MK.IV
This update we have a couple major additions to the game, the first of which is a new map themed around an oil rig platform. The platform features a small interior with with a helipad and a series of catwalks underneath the main platform which connect to a staircase into the buildings on the platform and two sets of stair catwalks on the side of the platform. Just mind your step if you decide to fight underneath the platform.
The second major addition is a new enemy type: a quad copter drone that will keep an eye on an area below them and fire upon whomever dares decide to wander in their designated area. Due to their light weight chassis they are easy to take out but fire bullets at twice the velocity of most infantry and like to stay at high altitudes, just keep an eye on the sky and stay mobile.
MK.IV Changes:
Gameplay Changes:
- Added Area Denial drone - A stationary drone that will watch a designated area underneath them and fire upon any enemies that come into that area, it's not based on line of sight.
Endless:
- Added a New Map: Oil rig
- Added Drone spawn locations to the "Cavern One" and "Runaway Train" maps, "GLS Base" however, does not feature any drone spawns.
General:
- Slightly lowered the volume of enemy gun fire
- Added randomized pitch ranges to enemy gun fire.
- Added ambiance sounds to the moving train level.
- Added notifications for item pickups (Ammo, Armor and health)
- Made some backend changes to the current particle system.
- Added new hitmarker sound effects.
- Added camera shake when scoring a headshot kill on an enemy.*
- Added an extra screen effect when killing an enemy.*
- *Added options to disable specific kill effects (screen effects, camera shaking, etc.)
- Changed Explosive Barrel model
Bugs:
- Fixed the regenetive armors being able to give more armor than it's max armor.
- Fixed Master Volume Slider not being in the audio settings.
- Adjusted the size of the spawn doors on "Runaway Train" to prevent Giants from getting stuck on them.
